24 July 2022 · A sentence from the teachings of Rav Kook

„And now the time has come, very near, when the world will be sweetene…”

„And now the time has come, very near, when the world will be sweetened, and we will already be able to prepare ourselves; for it will already be possible for us to lead our kingdom upon the foundations of goodness, wisdom, justice, and clear divine illumination.”From Orot HaMilchamah, 3

In a broad passage, Rav Kook explains the corruption of world politics, to the point that it would have been fitting to abstain from this craft, which necessitated wickedness and barbarism. In his words, a time will come when it will be possible to create a positive leadership with positive tools — without a "but" and without the necessity of evil in order to develop. Rav Kook writes these words about the evil era between the world wars. The hint in his words is to the repair that will come when Israel has a state and a leadership. The passage concludes: "until the time of pruning arrives and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land."
