„And if we were destroyed, and the world with us, through baseless hat…”

„And if we were destroyed, and the world with us, through baseless hatred – we shall return to be rebuilt, and the world with us, through baseless love.”From Orot HaKodesh III, 323

The Temple was destroyed also because of baseless hatred. Baseless hatred is not argument and disagreement. Nor does it mean standing on principle. Baseless hatred is an engine that drives our lives and fills us with hatred. Our foundation shifts from one that wishes to advance to one whose aim is to destroy. Our thoughts become thoughts whose aim is to make others fail. Such baseless hatred destroyed our House and destroys it to this day. Baseless love is a prayer for hope. For renewed building. For a positive outlook that will lead our lives. That will lead to building.
