„And if the intention in it is weak, and the images are blurred, all these will not diminish the flavor of one's good desire, for it is a known thing that after the passing of the turbid waters that gush from a flowing source of living water, there will come the clear and pure waters, which restore the soul.”From Notebook 'Rishon LeYafo,' passage 7
When one digs deep into the ground and reaches the water layer, at the first moment one sees turbid water. The sand at the bottom mixes with the water and may give a feeling of very dirty water; a difficult feeling of 'what did we dig and work so hard for' may come to the diggers, and despair may enter their hearts. But whoever waits a little and continues to dig a bit more will very quickly be able to see that the sand settles, and clear and clean water gushes forth.
Our activity, on the private and the general level, is this digging. Reaching the disgusting mud is at times the feeling we get a moment before great success.
Those of little faith will flee from the mud and lose their world. We must know that the mud heralds clear water. On the national level, on the general level, and on the private level.
