The Root of Division

People can disagree sharply, believe in different ways, and remain connected. Division begins when we stop seeing the good in our own path, and see only the evil in the other's path – then we are no longer acting out of faith, but out of negation. We cannot explain what we wish to build, but we know very well whom we must defeat. Thus the spirit gradually empties. Truth does not grow stronger; on the contrary, it shrinks into a slogan, a tribal identity, an endless war. The way out of division is not to give up our truth, but to return and clarify what is positive in it, what it seeks to add to the world, and what good exists even in the force that stands opposite us.
