Counsel and Might
„In a time of war, in a time of the turbulence of spirits, then counsel and might are needed.”From Shemonah Kevatzim I:193
When life flows, in routine, there is a principal and broad place for emotion in leadership. There is in the innocence of emotion an immense power that can lead to immense and great things. But in a time of war, stratagems prevail. And there the planned and precise place, the counsels and the understanding of the enemy's ways and thought, are a condition for success. Therefore in these days emotion is somewhat erased. It will yet return and appear - after the war.
