Sorrow Has No End

„Sorrow is a subterranean content, below the soul... and no trait can illuminate this great gloom except a supernal light of revival — the anticipation of a great and deep salvation.”From Shemonah Kevatzim 7:17

When we fall into sadness and despair, we need a remedy. Otherwise it is a fall into a bottomless abyss. And the answer to sadness and despair is hope — the deep knowledge that there is a chance, that there is light. And as a result of this, precisely in the hardest hours, we must develop within ourselves the anticipation of light. And when there is anticipation — the light will come!
