Morality and Courage

„The more the moral manifestation grows in the repair of traits and deeds, so too is courage of heart more firmly established in the heart of man.”From Shemonah Kevatzim 1:319

The more moral we are and the more we repair our traits and our shortcomings, the more whole we are, and accordingly we can stand more upright before any challenge. Courage is a product of truth. When we have a firm foundation of truth upon which we stand, we do not fear. When the foundation is, God forbid, falsehood, then the ground on which we rest is shaky, and accordingly courage vanishes or turns into hypocrisy and deceit.
