Rav Kook's Sayings / Comfort My People

„Rav Kook's Sayings / Comfort My People: "...it is never right to forget that in every war of opinions, after the ferment passes, the critics on all sides find both lights and shadows." (Igrot I, 314)”

There are those who want us to feel a constant war, one against another. But Rav Kook saw in the dispute and in the difference that exists between us a point of grip for ascent and constant progress. The way is to understand that in every side there is a certain truth, and to try to grasp it — to see the good, to understand the error, and to advance in truth. Without ego. The way out of destruction is to see depth in reality and not only surface.
