„The narrowness of a person's heart may lead them to try to dissect the truth into parts, to diminish it. They fear its greatness, and think that by diminishing it, it will be more popular.”From Orot HaKodesh IV

Falsehood enters when the truth presses in. The greatness and strength of truth are immense, and in order to diminish it for their benefit, the liar breaks the truth into parts and tries to diminish it, its meaning, and its importance. But falsehood has no legs, and truth is destined to triumph in the end, even if there are periods and moments in which falsehood holds sway.
