„A healthy soul in a healthy body must come to the great happiness of repentance, and in it one feels the greatest natural pleasure.”From Orot HaTeshuvah 5:1

Repentance points to health, not to wretchedness. A person who returns in repentance is a balanced person who understands his place and his life, and out of this acts toward repair.

The repair, when done in the proper and correct manner, brings great happiness, and there is in it an immense spiritual joy.
