„Anyone who is able to dwell in a great light, yet contents himself with a small one, thereby loses his good, and his image changes to darkness. And from this come all the corruptions of the traits and the opinions—for there are many people who are occupied with what is far below their level, and know nothing at all of their own greatness, and therefore they are perplexed, and devoid of savor in the very essence of their lives.”From Kevatzim MiKtav Yad II, 69
A happy person is one who brings his abilities into actuality. A person who succeeds in leaving an imprint through what is imprinted within him—through his powers, abilities, and talents. When we do not realize our abilities, we are, as it were, contracted. Our great light is dimmed, our gifts are undermined, and depression is liable to appear. If you wish to succeed and to be happy, give your gift to the world. Act, and use the great light that has been given to you and through you.
