a counterfeit fear, a fear that does not let us advance from the place in which we are.

This fear comes in various disguises and various guises — "It is hypocritical to approach prayer after what I did yesterday," "Who am I fooling by suddenly praying," "What am I doing playing the righteous one, I know how I am in my innermost chambers," and so on...

In such situations a person must believe in the Holy One, blessed be He, and believe in himself, to give himself the chance to advance and to be better.

Not to fix himself in his falls, but rather to rise and be elevated.
