„...also grown adults sometimes seek ways to avoid the minyan, since the difficulty is not simple - so what does one do? ***”

Rav Kook says that prayer expresses natural faith, and consequently, when this faith is present, prayer flows and streams forth from us. It is clear that in a time of need our prayer is stronger, since then our faith emerges and asks the Creator of the world for healing and remedy. But in a time of routine, prayer is often weak. Why?

Prayer, and faith too, need strengthening. This is the place of Torah study and of a person's inner work. A person who is soiled in his deeds will find prayer difficult. A person who strives to advance and develop in the service of God can find prayer both as a means (for that development) and as a goal in itself.

You are invited to offer suggestions and ways to improve prayer, for the merit of the many.

A pleasant day to all!

For the recovery of Yosef ben Sarah, Rabbi Yosef Chai ben Margalit, Mevorach ben Bova.
