The World Advances

We are used to measuring the world according to what we see at a given moment. Crises, confusions, falls, terror attacks, hardships, another generation that seems to be drifting away from the places where we would want to see it. But there is also an inner root to the world, and this root is continually thickening. Even when the advancement is not visible to the eye, even when reality appears complicated, something deeper continues to ripen. Human beings, cultures, social orders, the inner powers of life – all of them touch this light. This is not naive optimism but a deep faith in the course of creation. Every generation adds to itself another layer from the successes and mistakes of the generation before it.
