Gratitude
„The power of gratitude is a great power in the soul.”From Musar Avicha, II, 3
Passover is a festival of gratitude. A festival on which we look back and say thank you for all the good, and at the same time also look upon the difficulties and are aware of them. A person who is grateful is a powerful person. His attention, when it is healthy, is directed toward himself, and out of that also toward others, and he brings compassion and good to the world. This movement of gratitude, done with open eyes that are connected also to present reality, when it becomes a festival of a nation, awakens in all of us the positive side, and adds light to the world.
