The Light Is Already Here

Sometimes everything seems dark. The past year was such – crises, pain, a clouded future. When we are inside it, it is hard to imagine that something good could grow from it. But Rav Kook reminds us: the darkness is never absolute. Even when it seems that everything is frozen, within, something is already awakening. Like in spring, after a cold and barren winter, the world bursts forth anew in blossom. Not because it began just now, but because it was there all along, waiting for the right moment. Redemption is like this too. It does not come after the darkness but is born out of it. Even now, amid all the complexity, it is happening. Even if we do not yet see it, the light is already here.
