Weakening

„The faintheartedness and the depletion of strength that now prevail prevent the majesty of faith from appearing in the world.”From Orot HaTechiyah, 31

I write here often about the power of optimism, and I choose this time to write about the danger of pessimism. Rav Kook wrote about this in difficult times that Israeli society experienced. When there is faintheartedness and depletion of strength, when talk of weakness spreads, the good in the world is delayed. The intent is not to belittle the processes and the difficulty, but to understand how much power a bad word has, weakness and weakening. Especially in difficult times, be among those who strengthen.
