„...God, throughout the whole world:”
„...God, throughout the whole world:”From Pinkas HaDapim, 20
The Holy One, blessed be He, envelops the whole world. He is revealed to us not only in the pages of the Gemara and in the synagogues. He is the whole world. Rav Kook repeated this basic truth throughout all his writings. He is revealed to us in our work, in driving a car, in raising the children, and in the dining hall. He is the whole world. When we constrict existence to religious matters alone, we miss the greatness of God. And Rav Kook continues in that same passage: “Religion is a means... that prepares life and existence to know God.”
