The Land for Human Beings
„The pure view sees the divine appearance in every repair of life – individual and communal, spiritual and material.”From Shemonah Kevatzim II, 190
The spiritual world sometimes looks with a grudging eye upon the great world. Rav Kook calls this "smallness of faith" and explains that the beauty of the world, its restoration, its advancement, the science within it, culture, heroism, beauty, and more... all of these are part of the appearance of one world. The world of the Holy One. And we must see the Holy One alongside His appearances in prayers and in Torah study, also in the everyday labor – in our conversation with human beings, and in all the appearances of the world.
