To Believe
„It is impossible to live without the influence of a faith of holiness.”From Shemonah Kevatzim II, 180
We have merited to live in a generation in which the Holy One reveals Himself to us in an immediate way. We experience and see the overturning of worlds, and actual wonders in the reality before our eyes. There are those who try to attribute to faith a lowly outlook, of people with an "imaginary friend," but in fact we see that one who does not believe in the possibility that there is a power greater than us managing the world is forced to live the world in a shallow way. The Rav explains in his words: "Human thought is so narrow that to explain through it the depth of existence..." – and I will continue in my own words – we are obligated to bring the power greater than us into reality. For otherwise, we cannot understand its depth and greatness.
