Confidence and Humility
„The more the inner wholeness is lacking, the more nature seeks to be completed from the outside. Therefore it is only in a state of lowliness of soul that a desire is aroused to adorn oneself before others, whether in what one has or in what one does not have.”From Pinkas Yafo, 40
When we are not sufficiently repaired, we seek the approvals of the outside. That people see and tell us that the lack we feel is not a lack, and we develop a dependence and a need for the approval of others for our success. And this is liable to lead us to a life of falsehood; we tell ourselves and others what is not within us, and we develop a fictitious persona. The answer to all this is self-confidence and self-improvement. That is, to continue and work to be better, and to understand that the strength is within us, and not in the approval of others!
