Rosh Chodesh Nisan

The Israeli spring came into the world more than 3,000 years ago. The band of slaves leaving Egypt receives the Torah at Sinai and enters the Land of Israel back then, opening a new page in the annals of humanity. That departure gives hope for a different world, in which every part of the giant global body performs its role in harmony. This process came gradually, and the building of a people in its land with a spiritual center took many more years. But the spring began. Ever since, the month of Nisan symbolizes hope for freedom and redemption.
