Unity and Connection

„One who feels that the thought of unity is close to his spirit, and the image of binding all the worlds together in all their manners occupies his imagination and understanding - he is of the root of the great ones of the world.”From Shemonah Kevatzim II:16

At times, one may see those who try to draw close and unite as pathetic, as dreamers of vain dreams, or as those who try to imagine an unreal world. Rav Kook encourages the people of unity and sees in this immense greatness. Alongside the immense difficulties along the way, alongside the need to look reality squarely in the eye, there is immense importance to the daily attempts at unity, connection, and togetherness.
