„And the world will be repaired in a manner of peace and feelings of love, and the pleasantness of God will be felt in every heart.”From Orot HaMilchamah

The recurring story of our world is a story of a beginning at the top, a fall, and a climb. So it is in the story of the Garden of Eden, and so too in the story of the giving of the Torah and the sin of the calf that followed it. Wars are part of such a world, which because of its fall must fight and restore to itself its place and greatness. When there is war in the world, the shock it brings advances and repairs; it is a painful repair and at times an unbearable one, but it is a way by which good and evil are redefined, and thus, through this tangled history, the world goes on and advances toward its repair. When the nations of the world recognize anew the special quality of Israel and the light it brings to the world (not as a nation that scorns other nations, but as part of understanding the world and the role of every nation and tongue), the relationship will change from its foundation, and the world will be able to be truly built in a manner of peace and with feelings of love.
