Do Not Fear Progress
„If envy, desire, and honor come and press against the expansion of the soul... let him not be alarmed and not retreat; let him hold fast to his loftiness and strive still higher.”From Shemonah Kevatzim IV:81
When we aspire to advance and to ascend, there are dross and hindrances by the very nature of our being human. Thus emotions and personal cravings appear and are liable to push our goal away from us. Alongside dealing with envy, with desire, and with honor, we must also know not to be shaken - to understand that when we advance there will be difficulties, and not to let them become the story itself and prevent our elevation and progress.
