To Elevate Reality

„One does not feel the beauty of the world except according to the measure of beauty that exists within the inwardness of the soul.”From Shemonah Kevatzim 8:55

The depression of these days does not let up. Day after day of constant gloom and a sense of hopelessness from which there seems to be no way out. But the truth is — though it is hard to say — that this is in our hands!

True, one whose relatives were murdered, wounded, or are held captive can do nothing but worry for their well-being and their lives. But for everyone else, as an enveloping society, there is a role in these days: to illuminate the world. The more we succeed in emphasizing the good, the more it will grow and prevail. And the more, God forbid, the darkness prevails and manages to take over every good portion — the more it will grow. The illumination of the world's beauty depends on us, on the beauty of our soul and on the emphasis of our soul's beauty. And so, alongside the deeds and the prayers for the healing and rescue of our dear ones, we must not stop illuminating!
