The Power of Constant Prayer
„Whoever... holds firmly to the foundation of prayer, and calls to God at all times — in the end all the things that hinder him will depart from him.”From Shemonah Kevatzim 8:60
Every day tens of thousands of us pray, and in a few days millions of Jews will stand for long hours in prayer. The power of prayer is to change reality and to open gates. It builds new stories within us and opens worlds for us, and thus it is realized. True, we do not always see the fulfillment and success of all our prayers. But whoever prays, and believes in the power of prayer, succeeds in changing reality — if not in the direct objects of his prayer, then in other gates, for him and for the whole world.
