The greatest freedom of humanity is the freedom to think — the constant ability to give free rein to our mind and heart; and of course this is a choice whose consequences we bear. Therefore this freedom requires binding rules, ones that create a sound and functioning society. When one knows how to walk between the raindrops — on the one hand allowing the freedom of thought, and on the other remaining within rules — the capacity to flourish and to succeed is immense. But when, for the sake of certain rules, one extinguishes humanity, or, for the sake of certain cravings, one utterly ignores the rules — the results can be destructive. Enjoy your freedom.
