„Even when a person finds themselves sunk very deeply in the mire of life, let them know that inner solitude will restore to them their lost selfhood, and the light of their soul will return to them.”From Shemonah Kevatzim IV, 103

Life is an unending river of challenges. And at times we even drown in this river and feel that it becomes muddy and hard. Here Rav Kook offers advice for the difficulty: looking inward. Drawing from the inner reservoirs of our soul and spirit. Stopping. The light of the soul returns to shine when the race stops for a moment, when we dare to look around, to open our eyes. Further on, the Rav speaks of real impediments that appear. We will expand on this tomorrow.
