„When the soul asks for its melodies, do not withhold them from it.”
„When the soul asks for its melodies, do not withhold them from it.”From Shemonah Kevatzim VII, 184
If your soul asks for the melodies of life that soothe it, do not withhold good from it. If your spirit wishes to pray outside the time of prayer — stand and pray. If your heart desires to sing — sing with it. We must strive not to hold back our spirit and our soul, especially when they aspire to matters of holiness. To find the paths that connect our soul to the song of the world and the soul.
