„The building of the world, which is now collapsing on account of the terrible storms of a sword full of blood, demands the building of the nation of Israel. (Orot HaMilchamah, 9) *** When there is war, proportions often return. Alongside prayer for the success and protection of all the security forces, this is the time to build the tier of Israel's strength—a tier whose foundation is from the creation of the world, and all the more so from the giving of the Torah. The Torah that descended into the world brought a different language and a different order whose aim is peace, tranquility, and good. A Torah that bequeaths to us protection of the weak on the one hand, and on the other hand knows how to settle accounts with one who rises to kill us, without petty and destructive politics. A Torah of reward and punishment, and a Torah that opposes anarchy and taking the law into one's own hands. The Sages”
