„Heresy has a right to exist, because it is needed to digest the filth…”

„Heresy has a right to exist, because it is needed to digest the filth that has attached itself to faith.”From Pinkas HaDapim, IV, 48

In a world where there are balances, one succeeds in advancing and rising. Heresy is a balance to faith—a balance to the additions and the filth that attached themselves to it along the way. The fact that heresy does not take for granted every faith-based notion causes the wise to examine their ways and their faith again and again. There is in this a great healing for the world; and in general, when there is a difficulty that leads to thought and to deeper understandings, this is an immense healing and comfort.
