„A Central World Yeshiva for Israel in Jerusalem”

'Jerusalem,' the holy city, the capital of our past and our future, must be the whole vision of every pure heart and every possessor of a feeling soul imbued with the life-spirit of the holy in Israel. And we must establish within it a central world yeshiva, mighty and powerful—not only for the sons of the Land of Israel, but for the whole of the exile as well—to which all the young students of God, distinguished in talent and in nobility of spirit from among all who take hold of the Torah in all the dispersions of the exile, will stream, and will go up to Jerusalem 'to chip away at the hills and to hew at the mountains, to break up difficulties and to resolve fragments,' to restore the crown to its former glory, to become perfected within it in the Torah of the Land of Israel and in the revival of the holy upon the holy soil!
