When a person rises, the world rises with him. And when he falls, it affects everything. In an era in which there is a feeling that reality is determined somewhere else, Rav Kook turns the gaze inward. It is not Trump nor Netanyahu who will determine how our family responds to war, but us. Precisely our will, the way in which we choose to hold ourselves within the complexity, is a force that acts upon reality. This does not negate fear and difficulty, does not pass judgment, and certainly does not speak of external things and disasters that may happen, but it restores to a person his place as one who truly acts and influences. We are all the fighters of this war, and those around us are learning to respond to it and to remember it through us! Hold on ❤️
