One of the greatest things people discover as they progress in life is that the very movement is the life itself. Our walking along the road toward a destination is an essential and primary part of the destination itself. A person is by nature drawn to the end, to the achievement, to the victory, to perfection. But in the service of God, and in life itself as well, there is no final destination. Every peak we have reached immediately becomes a new point of departure. One who lives in a consciousness of seeking lives a life of infinite growth, of clarification and deepening, of a little more light each day. And so, as long as we are seeking, advancing, becoming clearer, changing, we are progressing.
