The Fall of the Culture of Falsehood
„The whole culture that boasts with the cymbals of falsehood must be blotted out from the world, and in its place shall rise the kingdom of the supernal holy ones.”From Orot HaMilchamah 8
We live in a generation that sees with open eyes how kingdoms fall. How entire cultures that leaned upon falsehood, that sold false visions of freedom without identity, of equality without justice, of progress without soul, are collapsing. A world that renounces childbearing, that surrenders to evil and violence, that erases moral boundaries in the name of deceptive values, is crumbling before our eyes. Rav Kook teaches that the blotting out of the culture of falsehood is not a catastrophe, but an inevitable stage on the way to repair. Only when the falsehood collapses can truth arise. Only when the false kingdom crumbles can a true kingdom arise in its place. Judaism has no interest that the collapsing world become Jewish (unlike Christianity and Islam), but simply that it fulfill its role in an upright and proper manner.
