Complete Healing
„Illnesses, like all the world's afflictions, have a moral purpose, to soften the hard heart of a person... and if the mental picture would benefit the person, then he would indeed receive the benefit of the existence of illnesses merely from their possible existence, and there would be no need at all for them to come upon him in actuality.”From Ein Ayah, Shabbat 32
Everything we undergo in this world has some purpose. And so too, God forbid, illnesses, wars, and troubles. Things that take us out of the safe, complacent, and calm place to a place of need and prayer. When we receive these blows, we have an opportunity for deep repair. And this is on condition that, in addition to all the needs for healing, we pause and think about the 'why.'
