A Psalm of Thanksgiving
„The echo of the sound of the Psalm of Thanksgiving, even in its expression that issues from the stirring heart of the individual, full of feelings of thanks to the God who saves and answers in time of trouble, goes forth and is heard as a universal echo.”From Olat Re'iyah, A Psalm of Thanksgiving
When we say thank you, something in reality changes. Reality is elevated to a place of thanksgiving, to a blessed and aspiring place. When it concerns something private for which we are full of gratitude, and we express our thanks, an immense force descends to the world. And sevenfold, when we give thanks for something that belongs to the whole world. To say thank you to the Holy One, blessed be He, for the success that happened tonight, and to continue praying for the eradication of evil in the world, for the success of our soldiers and our forces everywhere, and alongside all this, to add vigilance, alertness, and caution. Not to fall asleep, not to be complacent. To give thanks, and to continue being watchful.
