Peace
„We must always occupy ourselves with bringing about the spiritual peace among opinions, even more than we occupy ourselves with the material peace between one person and his fellow, for only the spiritual peace brings about the material peace.”From Kitvei HaRe'iyah, II
The concept of "peace" is increasingly becoming mere non-war. Quiet. It loses its original and unique intent. When peace becomes a political matter, the exchange of territories or monies, the settlement of debts or problems with the other, we lose its true meaning. Spiritual peace is a deep solution to war. The ability to see a long-term vision that tries to resolve conflicts, to find a remedy for disagreements, to understand and to find a new language. Only spiritual peace brings about material peace. The continued search for flat solutions without depth will not bring the longed-for peace. Not in the private manner between people, and not in the general manner between nations.
