The Power of Will

Nothing can stand before the will. Within us is a powerful engine called will. And when this engine operates, it can reach astonishing heights and break records. The abilities that exist alongside the will assist it, but they are not a condition for success. The only condition for success that lies in a person's hands (alongside, of course, the decrees of Heaven, which are no longer in our hands) is the will. The lion's share of the work the Rav speaks of throughout all his writings is work on the will.
