Unity Within Humanity

„The voice of the vintner and the farmer on the soil of Israel, and the voice of Torah and prayer in the tents of Jacob, up to the voice of the sublime song in the sanctuary of the Lord - it is one voice.”From Essay 'HeChadash baMedinah uvaMikdash'

"There are no halves, no partialities, and no contents of division in the essence of that great soul of the nation," so writes Rav Kook about a hundred years ago. The one who toils in the field, the one who studies in the study hall, the one who prays in the synagogue - they are all one. And upon all of them lies the duty to find themselves in each and every one of these matters, as part of the Jewish demand for unity upon our entry into the Land of Israel. Like our own bones - King David, who combined the book and the sword. Like the great ones of Israel in every generation who engaged in labor and in Torah. It is one voice!
