Mishpetei HaRav Kook / To Innovate

„The heart yearns to innovate, to innovate without cease, to innovate in a flowing and streaming manner, because such is the nature of the soul — that it be flowing like a stream.”From Chadarav, p. 68

Like a flowing river, so too is the character of a person, seeking to press on and to strive. Even in moments of stagnation and difficulty, the living waters within us demand their flow. And we must gird ourselves with strength and continue to innovate — to continue to create, to go out to life and to overcome every obstacle and difficulty. And this need is not for outward display; rather, it is the voice of the powers of life demanding their place, and the voice of physical and mental health demanding its continuity. To life!
