When we want to make a repair, we must do it in depth and not in a superficial way.

When the leaves of a tree begin to wither and wilt, we do not pour water on the leaves, but rather give water to the root and treat the root. So too in our lives: when we feel a difficulty, we must descend to its root and from there treat it.

This applies to spiritual matters, to material matters, and in fact to every detail of the details of our lives.
