„The greatness of faith does not depend on the multitude of things that one believes — for a fool believes everything — but rather on the depth of the sense of faith, and the greatness of its expansion and the breadth of its feeling in the precious matters upon which faith is founded; and the foundation of all is the Divine preciousness.”From Shemonah Kevatzim 6:62
There is no point in a believer turning himself into a fool and automatically supporting everything from which a guise of faith or holiness arises.
A true believer is a person whose sense of faith is developed — that is, who succeeds in creating for himself a language of faith, feelings of faith, and above all the love of God and closeness to the Holy One, blessed be He.
The essence of faith is within the person, inwardly, and not in deeds and external behaviors.
Have a pleasant rest of the day, everyone!
