„Repentance does not come to embitter life but to sweeten it. And the sweetness of life that comes through...”From Shemonah Kevatzim, VII, 206

In our world we often judge "bad" and "good" by immediate measures: am I enjoying myself right now, or am I not enjoying myself right now? Repentance is a deep process that a person undergoes; in the process of repentance there are times of great difficulty, but this difficulty is like a bud that contains life within it, like the pangs of birth.

When we learn to judge our world by measures that look over the long term, we will see blessing and good, and we will merit repentance.

A good day to all!

For the recovery of Vardit bat Malka.
