„Let a person not make his soul a lie; let him not falsify his inner feelings out of the storm of the impulse of the consensus of the many.”

At times, in order to "be one of the group," we do things that are contrary to our nature; the crowd sweeps us into doing things, and we do them in order to be liked.

This is common among youth as well as among adults in various forms.

Rav Kook calls upon us not to make a lie within our souls, not to overturn our own nature owing to the fact that "everyone does so."

A good night to all!
