2 December 2025 · A sentence from the teachings of Rav Kook

Humility

„A person must labor greatly until it is properly pictured in his mind that there exists a world beyond his own private existence. And when he knows this properly, only then can he attain his Creator.”From Notebook I, 86

It is worth remembering, in the everyday reality we live in, that there is a whole world around us. That our understanding and perception do not bind the whole and reality. This simple understanding is a tremendous foundation for the ability to live together. To build a mended world. And to advance. Both in the private and personal way of each and every one of us, and as a nation and as part of a whole world.
