Strife Among Brothers

„Close to the footsteps of the Messiah, the treasured quality of unity in the nation increases... this quality is hidden in a treasury of accusation and quarrels, but its inner core is inlaid with a wondrous love and unity.”From Orot HaTechiyah, 25

A moment before redemption, there is an immense desire for connection that is masked by... division. We argue because we understand that we are together. That we were destined to live together and to be partners. Each side tries to bring its own unique hue of light. Its story into the shared collective story. But the quarrel and the division stem precisely from the fact that we understand and internalize that we are together. One who is not connected to us does not interest us. We quarrel with those who are connected to us. Strife among brothers. On the way, with God's help, to unity.
