„The more that spiritual observation becomes natural to a person, the more all creatures become dear and honored in his eyes. For the living spirituality within every creature is exceedingly precious and lofty.”From Shemonah Kevatzim, IV, 79
The closer a person is to the Holy One, the more his outlook upon his surroundings is positive.
When a person loves someone, he finds merit in him, and when a person loves the Holy One, he understands that there is intention and purpose in each and every thing: every person has a purpose, and every natural phenomenon has a cause.
Elsewhere the Rav explains that these things apply in all situations of life and toward every creature and every state of life.
Have a pleasant day, everyone!
For the elevation of the soul of Rabbi Froman, of blessed memory, whose day of passing falls this week, and who loved without limit. (Photo by Yaakov Lein).
