„There are such opinions, that u...”

„There are such opinions, that u...”

There are opinions and positions that bear no responsibility, and whose harm, even when they are theoretical, is immense and great.

In the Rav's conception, everything has a root of truth, and even corrupt opinions have such a root; but even so, one should not voice them because of the harm they cause. Freedom of expression is limited when it is liable to harm the collective.

At the end of his words the Rav says that it is permitted to leave the matters and develop them in thought. This is in order to mend from within them what requires mending, but not by way of destruction.
